What is MTX SMS Mobile Number?
The MTX SMS Mobile Number service from MTX Connect enables you to select either a UK (+44) or Luxembourg (+352) number and associate it with one of your SIM cards. This service is specifically designed for receiving OTP (One-Time Password) messages directly on your MTX SIM card. Please note that this is a subscription-based option, costing 60 euros per year.
Important: these numbers are exclusively for inbound messages; you cannot make or receive calls or send SMS messages using this number.
Can I receive OTP messages if my SIM is turned off or not installed?
Yes, SMS messages, including OTPs, will be delivered to your MTX app Inbox even if your SIM is turned off or not installed in your device.
I don't want to lose my SMS number; is there an option for automatic renewal?
