How does QoS work?
QoS (Quality of Service) is one of the ways to manage data consumption without blacklisting of Internet resources. For example, setting the package QoS to 128Mbps, the users of this package will be able to check mail or chat in IM, but the streaming video will not work.
Our system gives you a selection of different QoS presets. For example, if you want to create a package, permanently limited to a certain speed, you can choose from seven QoS presets limiting the bandwidth speed from 32kbps to 2mbps.
Another use case is bandwidth limitation after the user has reached a certain traffic exchange threshold. For example, you can create a package with no limitations before 200Mb of daily data usage. As soon as the user reaches that 200Mb threshold, his bandwidth drops to 128Kbps until midnight.
