Can I transfer my eSIM to a new device?
To transfer the eSIM profile from your old device to your new phone, follow these steps:
Ensure your old device has internet access.
Remove the eSIM profile from the phone settings.
This process is known as a "Confirmed Removal." If you miss any of these steps (e.g., losing your old phone, resetting it to factory settings, or not deleting the eSIM, or no internet access), you won't be able to install the eSIM on your new device.
Important: This process only applies to eSIMs issued after January 2024.
If you encounter any issues during the transfer, you can easily purchase a new eSIM for just 1 euro. This option is available to existing customers through your personal cabinet at https://selfcare.mtxc.eu/ or directly from the MTX app. The cost will be automatically deducted from your account balance. Additionally, if you no longer plan to use your old eSIM, you can suspend it in your personal cabinet.
You can have up to 10 active sim cards on your account, and all of them will share one account balance.
